
Jan Rader joined “Meet the Press” on October 29, 2017 to discuss the opioid epidemic. Rader, a former fire chief in Huntington, W. Va., was featured in “Heroin(e),”a documentary focused on three women combating the epidemic which was showcased in the first year of the Meet the Press Film Festival. Rader joined the broadcast on the week that President Trump declared the opioid epidemic a public health emergency.
